20th century & Contemporary Art

Although most of visitors come to Florence to admire the glories of our past, there are some spots of interest for modern and contemporary time as well. The Museo del ‘900, for example, hosts Italian XX century Art, and the Collezioni Casamonti consisting in a private collection open to the public. The Museo Marino Marini is an interesting monographic collection placed in an old church and, last but not least, the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi often holds contemporary art expositions and installations. Furthermore, we do have some hidden pieces of XX century architecture for those who like it!
