Es hat einst ber\u00fchmte Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten wie die Maler <strong><em>Beato Angelico<\/em><\/strong> und <strong><em>Fra Bartolommeo<\/em><\/strong> beherbergt sowie den ber\u00fchmt-ber\u00fcchtigten M\u00f6nch Fra Savonarola. Dieses Kloster gilt als eines der wichtigsten Zentren der Geschichte und Kultur der Renaissance.<br><br>In der N\u00e4he sind einige weniger bekannte Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten zu finden, unter diesen zwei meiner Lieblinge: die geschichtstr\u00e4chtige Kirche voller Mystik <strong><em>SS. Annunziata<\/em><\/strong> und das ehemalige Waisenhaus <strong><em>Spedale degli Innocenti<\/em><\/strong>, welches in einem von dem bedeutenden Architekten Filippo Brunelleschi entworfenen Geb\u00e4ude untergebracht ist. Das Museum vermittelt einen guten Eindruck des Florentiner Lebens im Laufe der Jahrhunderte und es beherbergt eines der wichtigsten Archive der
